Stitches
Short stitch, explained
Where a satin column or fill turns sharply, the stitches on the inside of the curve bunch together, which piles up thread, perforates the fabric and can break the thread; short stitches spread them out. They are different from tiny stitches, moves so short the machine can't form them cleanly, which are best removed. Embrizo shortens alternate satin stitches on tight inside curves and drops stitches shorter than about 0.3 mm; the file checker flags tiny stitches in any file.
