How to convert an image to XXX

Set the size

The Singer XXX format
XXX is the format of Singer embroidery machines such as the Futura series, and of the Compucon software they were developed with.
XXX stores thread colors and trims, so your color order carries over to the machine.
Long moves are split automatically to stay within the format's limits.

Which Singer machines use XXX?
The Singer Futura series and other Compucon-based Singer machines use XXX. If you have a different model, check its manual for the formats it reads.
Does XXX include thread colors?
Yes. Each color block stores its RGB thread color.
Is this embroidery digitizer really free?
Yes. You can digitize and download as many designs as you like, in every format, without signing up. Everything runs in your browser, so there are no server costs to pass on.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Your image is processed entirely on your own device in your web browser and is never uploaded. If you sign in and save a design, only the finished stitch file, a small preview and its thread colors are stored in your account, never the original image.
