Each conversion has its own page with format details and tips.
What the converter keeps
- Every stitch, exactly where it was: all formats store positions in 0.1 mm steps.
- The color order and color changes, so the design sews in the same sequence.
- Thread colors whenever both formats can store them. PES and JEF snap colors to their machine palettes.
- Trims between separate areas. Moves longer than the target format allows are split into shorter jumps.

Questions
The quickest way to see what it does with your artwork is to try it. It's free and takes about a minute.
Which embroidery formats can I convert?
You can open DST, PES, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX, PEC, U01 and TBF files and save them in any of those nine formats, or all of them at once in a ZIP.
Does converting change the stitches?
No. Every needle position is copied exactly. Long moves are split if the target format has a shorter maximum, and jumps are written as trim-and-jump.
What happens to thread colors?
Formats that store colors keep them. DST, EXP and U01 don't store colors, so the converter shows distinct default colors that you can change before saving to a color format such as PES or VP3.
Can I resize a design while converting?
Not here. Scaling a stitch file changes its density and can make it sew badly. Digitize the original artwork again at the new size instead; it's free.
Is my design uploaded?
No. The file is read and written in your browser, so it never leaves your computer.
