How do I convert Janome thread colors to Brother?

Are the matches exact?
No two brands make identical colors. These are the closest colors in the published charts by perceived difference; thread dyes and screens vary, so compare against a real thread card for important colors such as logos.
Will a Janome design file show Brother colors?
A JEF file stores Janome chart colors. When you convert it to PES, each color is mapped to the closest Brother thread, as in this chart.
